There was an Adjourned Special Delegate Meeting held on September 16, 2015. The voting power of the association is 1069. Delegates representing 67% of the Association’s voting power were required to be present in order to take a vote to grant authority to the Board of Directors to sell a parcel of property to be used by a developer seeking to build a commercial shopping development at the northwest corner of La Sierra Avenue and El Sobrante Road. 67% of the voting power was represented at the meeting. It was required that 67% of the votes be cast in favor of the sale per the association’s governing documents. Of the total 842 votes cast, 447 were in favor; therefore, the proposed measure did not pass. A report submitted by the third party election inspector will be mailed to all members via first class mail.
